Police Blotter | Marijuana in the bathroom; masturbation in the park; beer in the drive-thru; decontamination of bodily fluids

Here’s a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie over the past week.

THEFT REPORT | NORTH BEND 76 STATION

On January 8th around 12:30AM an employee reported that a known white female suspect stole items – candy, a hat and car freshener – from the station’s store. An officer responded and reported that if the woman was not found that night, charges would be forwarded.


DISTURBANCE |  NORTH BEND SUBWAY

 On January 8th around 1:15PM a caller reported an aggressive customer who was swearing at everyone, standing on a table.  An officer responded and detained the man, who was not cooperative. While transported the man from Issaquah Jail to King County Jail, the man was also uncooperative and help was required to get the suspect from the police vehicle into the jail facility.  The officer had to perform a vehicle decontamination – for ‘bodily fluids’ –  after the subject was removed


DUI/PHYSICAL CONTROL |  NORTH BEND McDONALD’S

On January 8th around 5PM an employee reported a male drinking beer while in the drive thru line, apparent on drive thru video tape. An officer responded and checked the area of the vehicle’s registered owner, who had already made it home.


THEFT REPORT  | SNOQUALMIE PARKWAY

On January 9th around 6AM it was reported that cable from a construction site was stolen sometime between Saturday evening and Monday morning.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | TRUCK TOWN, North Bend

On January 9th at 6:15AM it was reported that a vehicle was parked by the truck parking area and the driver was agitated when asked to leave, saying he wanted somewhere to take a nap. An officer responded and arrested the man who had a warrant with the Sammamish Police Department. He was transported to the Issaquah Jail.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | CASCADE VIEW ES, Snoqualmie

On January 11th at 8:30AM a caller reported two suspicious males near the YMCA parking walking toward the nearby park restrooms.  The caller said they appeared to be under the influence of something.  An officer responded and made contact with one male and one female inside the restroom. The 15-year old male had marijuana and was detained. He was later released to his mother.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | BORDEN PARK, Snoqualmie

On January 11th at 8:30PM a caller reported that a couple of hours prior a man was observed masturbating at the park. The man was described as a white male with dark complexion, in his 30’s and wearing a blue running suit


THEFT IN-PROGRESS |  NORTH BEND BARTELLS

On January 12th around 5PM an employee reported a shoplifting incident in progress. The suspect – a white male in his early 20’s – was observed putting razors into his jacket. An officer responded. The suspect was taken into custody and trespassed from the store for one year.


HIT & RUN ACCIDENT UNATTENDED | POPEYE’S, TRUCK TOWN

On January 13th around 12:30PM a caller reported a hit and run to an unoccupied vehicle parked at the location. A possible suspect vehicle was an unspecified brown work truck.

  • Really “nice” news about our “cities”! Meanwhile those of us living in the “unincorporated” areas never see any mentions of the car prowls, break ins, vandalism, assaults that happen all the time.

      1. Excellent idea and has been asked before several times by residents in Wilderness Rim, River Bend and the “new” residential communities outside the city limits.
