Woman dies after falling near Kendall Katwalk Trail at Snoqualmie Pass

King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 2 helicopter was dispatched to attempt a hoist rescue near the Kendall Katwalk Trail. Unfortunately the helicopter was unable to access the person due to the rough terrain and high winds, so King County Search and Rescue crews were planning to hike into the location.

Around 2:45PM, KCSO reported that the 64-year old woman had been located off the Kendall Katwalk Trail, but sadly had died as a result of falling several hundred feet. Deputies and SAR crews will conduct the recovery mission.
