Updated Snoqualmie Valley School Board November 8th Election Results – Geoff Doy Now Appears Winner

A week after the November 8th election and King County is still updating Snoqualmie Valley School Board election results.

As of today, Tuesday, 11/15/2011, 11,534 out of 12,377 ballots received had been tallied.  It now looks like two challengers will unseat school board incumbents.

Director District #2:  Geoff Doy defeating incumbent Caroline Loudenback by nearly 3 percentage points – or 254 votes.

Director District #3:   Carolyn Simpson defeating incumbent Craig Husa by 9.45 percentage points

Director District #5:   Dan Popp defeating challenger, Peggy Johnson, by nearly 15 percentage points.

King County Election will certified the results on November 30th.  New school board members will be sworn in on January 12, 2012 and begin a 4-year term.
