TRAFFIC | ‘Significant Delays’ through Snoqualmie Possible This Week

The City of Snoqualmie warns [again] of possible significant traffic delays in downtown Snoqualmie along Railroad Ave SE from June 15th – 24th, as crews work to  finish construction work associated with the Downtown Infrastructure and Improvement traffic delay signProject.

An earlier city press release stated the project should wrap up in early summer.  This week’s delays and road closures are due to pavement grinding and asphalt replacement, as well as concrete repair work. The city advises residents allow extra commute time or use Millpond Road as an alternate.

Downtown shops and restaurants, many of which are anxiously awaiting the end of the one-year infrastructure project, are open for business through the entire project.  The encourages support of these local establishments.
