Traffic Alert | Paving at Tokul Roundabout expected to Cause Long Delays this week

Looks like Snoqualmie Valley drivers will have one more round paving work to endure in the Tokul Roundabout area near Snoqualmie Falls.

The City of Snoqualmie said final paving will occur at the roundabout on Wednesday, April 20th and Thursday, April 21st from 7AM to 6PM, which will result in alternating one-way traffic controlled by traffic flaggers – and is expected to cause possible LONG delays.

The delays are expected to impact both directions of SR 202, Snoqualmie Parkway, Mill Pond Road and Tokul Road. Drivers are asked to plan ahead, including looking for alternate routes when possible.

Two weeks ago during another round of paving and construction, morning delays stretched 40 minutes, impacting students and SVSD school buses.

The Tokul Roundabout became fully function after the work two weeks ago.  This week’s work is the final layer of pavement on the nearly 10 month project.

  • Went through there on Friday and there’s a hoop dee doo just off the end of the bridge heading for the roundabout, way too much for a parking lot let alone a State highway and finished paving appears to be done, that should be fixed.
