Snoqualmie Valley Schools running Two Hours Late, January 10th

The Snoqualmie Valley School District announced around 4:45AM  that schools would open two hours late, Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Buses will also use snow routes – i.e. ‘limited transportation to areas A, B and C.’

The National Weather Service posted a Winter Weather Advisory for 1-3″ of [possible] snow that runs until Tuesday at 1PM. Ice was also an issue in many Valley areas Monday night and into early Tuesday morning. Weather radar showed precipitation moving into Snoqualmie Valley area by 6AM.

The Washington State Patrol reported black ice on many roadways, asking drivers to use caution and increase driving distances. The City of Snoqualmie said its crews worked de-icing city roads throughout the night.

 

SVSD Delay Announcement:

For Tuesday, January 10, 2016 Snoqualmie Valley Schools are Open, Two Hours Late today. Limited Transportation in areas “A” (North Bend), Area “B” (Snoqualmie), and “C” (Fall City) due to inclement weather and road conditions. No AM Preschool, No AM Encompass, and No out-of district transportation.
