Snoqualmie Tribe Names New Casino CEO, brings decades of experience to position

On December 12, 2017, the Snoqualmie Tribal Council announced that Brian Decorah will be joining the Tribe as the new CEO of the Snoqualmie Casino.

“We are excited and greatly look forward to working with Mr. Decorah,” says Jolene Williams, Snoqualmie Tribal  Council Vice Chairwoman. “We believe his experience and passion for the work he has done elsewhere in Indian Country makes him an exceptional fit for Snoqualmie Casino.”

According to a news release, an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, Mr. Decorah comes to Snoqualmie Casino with 20 years of experience working in Native American casino and resort operations. He has also worked with tribal governments and compliance operations. He has extensive experience creating and implementing strategic plans and developing and retaining team members, while ensuring award-winning guest services.

“It is with genuine excitement that I join the Snoqualmie team,” said Decorah. “I had been in discussion with some great properties across the country, but when I visited with Snoqualmie Tribe leaders and toured the Snoqualmie Casino and the surrounding area, my decision was made.”

Decorah is coming from FireKeepers Casino and Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan where he has served as the President/CEO. Under his leadership FireKeepers generated record revenues while compiling an impressive list of industry awards. Decorah will begin in his position as CEO at Snoqualmie Casino on January 1, 2018.
