Si View launches new Volleyball Class, gives local girls earlier access to popular sport

Hoping to give local girls earlier access to the sport of volleyball, Si View Parks District is excited to introduce a new class into the Snoqualmie Valley Community: Si View Recreation Volleyball Class

Instead of waiting for organized volleyball leagues to begin in middle school, Si View says the new class gives girls as young as 2nd grade – and up through 8th grade – a chance to play volleyball, learn the rules and just have fun this Fall.

The elementary class is designed to teach basic volleyball skills, build confidence, and the rules of the game. The middle school class will build on the basic skills and focus on getting the players ready for middle school, high school, and club volleyball.

The classes will take place on Sunday afternoons and will conclude the final week with a mini tournament amongst players – as long as numbers allow for it.

Si View says “Come join and do not miss out!”
