Reminder! North Bend, Snoqualmie Garbage Collection Delayed One Day Rest of Week; Christmas Tree Disposal Options

If you live in Snoqualmie or North Bend and your garbage/recycle collection day is Tuesday – Friday, your collection will be delay by one day this week due to the New Year’s holiday.

The only holidays Waste Mangement and Republic Services do NOT collect on are Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day – and only when they fall on a week day.

So all of you with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday regular pick-up days, you need to put your garbage, recycle and yard waste containers out one day later than your normal collection day.

Also, Waste Management (Snoqualmie) and Republic Services (North Bend) will pick up Christmas trees free-of-charge for residents using their yard waste/composting services. Trees can be placed curbside during the first two weeks of January on your regularly scheduled collection day. Trees should be no more than 4 feet in length; taller trees can be cut in half. No tinsel, ornaments, metal hooks, etc. or flocked trees.

As in years past, Snoqualmie Valley Boy Scout Troops will be collecting holiday trees in Snoqualmie as one of their annual fundraisers. The residential pick-up service will be on Saturday, January 5th. Trees should be place curbside no later than 8AM.

Please place a suggested donation of $10-15 in an envelope and attach it to the base of the tree with a rubber band. Cash is preferred but checks can be made payable to “BSA Troop 425.” Flocked trees and those with tinsel, decorations, and tree nails will not be accepted.
