The city said officers and detectives were continuing to process evidence and information following Friday’s discovery the deceased man and woman – and while the investigation was still underway, Commander Larry Colagiovanni of the Coalition of Small Police Agencies was able to share that preliminary results indicate the tragic incident was a murder-suicide.

The names of the deceased will not be released pending positive identification.

Over the weekend police had closed off NE 152nd Street  between 279th Lane NE and 279th Place NE for the investigation  The Duvall Police also repeatedly assured residents in the area and the community that there was no a general threat to anyone’s safety.
