Police Blotter | Not on my Grass; Who let the Bees out?; Table Skating; Freshness Gone

Sno NB police badgeHere are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie over the past two weeks.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | BETTER WAY LOOP, Snoqualmie

On June 4th around 10:15AM a caller reported that overnight someone damaged the bathroom and stole heater fixtures. Caller had video of the incident.  An officer responded to take a report and found the heating unit for water that feeds into the sink had been opened, with parts missing.  Charges for the suspect would follow.


THEFT REPORT |  SNOQUALMIE RIDGE IGA

On June 4th at 5:45PM a caller reported that a wallet was stolen from inside their car while they were returning a shopping cart.


SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES |  EDGEWICK INN, North Bend

On June 5th at 2PM a caller frantically reported that a man was in the parking lot with an injury to the back of his head and wearing nothing but a hospital gown and wrist band.  An officer responded and reported that the man was intoxicated, fell and hit his head on the concrete.  He was transported to Overlake Hospital.


CIVIL PROBLEM | OLD HONEY FARM, Snoqualmie

On June 6th around 1PM a caller reported that a man was letting swarms of bees out and that police had responded the previous week for the same thing – and there were A LOT of bees.  An officer responded and advised the man to “not let bees out in residential areas.”


THEFT REPORT | SNOQUALMIE LIBRARY

On June 8th around 8PM a caller reported that their Specialized Mountain bike valued at $500 was stolen from the library. No serial number was available from the caller.


TRESPASSING PROBLEM | TRUCK TOWN, North Bend 

On June 9th around 9AM a TA employee reported a man soliciting gas money and requested he be trespassed. An officer responded and asked the man to leave.


ANIMAL PROBLEM | JACOBIA ST & SNOQUALMIE PKWY

On June 10th around 8:20PM a caller reported a bear behind their home and the child car center.  The bear was not reported to be aggressive.


JUVENILE PROBLEM |  SI VIEW COMMUNITY CENTER

On June 10th around 6:30PM a caller reported 6-8 male juveniles skateboarding on tables near the kids play area. An officer responded and advised the boys to “skateboard only in areas open to skateboards.”  The juveniles then left the area.


ALCOHOL-RELATED OFFENSE/DUI |  SW MT SI BLVD, North Bend

On June 10th a caller reported a man who had been drinking was wandering the parking lot looking for his vehicle. He found his truck and drove off toward the Chase Bank. An officer responded and located the man nearby.  He was arrested and booked into the Issaquah Jail for DUI. His truck was impounded.


WELFARE CHECK | ROCK CREEK RIDGE BLVD, North Bend

On June 12th around 10:45AM a caller reported a female who appeared to be drunk out on the street, laying on cars and on the street.  The caller reported the woman made it back to her apartment.


DISPUTE |  LA FOREST DR, North Bend

On June 12th around 12:30PM a caller reported that he had a dispute with his neighbor over parking on his grass, after asking the neighbors repeatedly not to park on the grass. The caller said his wife went over to ask the neighbor to move their vehicles to which they replied that they would not “in light of 50 people dying” – and then slammed the door on the wife.  An officer responded and spoke with both involved parties and gave them “resolution options.”


THEFT REPORT  | CHANTICLEER AVE, Snoqualmie

On June 17th around 10:30AM a caller reported that the previous day their Amazon Fresh order was stolen off of their front porch.
