Police Blotter | Bears, Wind, Stolen liquor and a Scary Movie Set

Here are a few of the calls the Snoqualmie Police Department responded to in North Bend and Snoqualmie this past week:

ANIMAL PROBLEM | FERN AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On September 22nd around 6:15PM, a caller reported a large black bear in their backyard that was going towards the train park. The bear was gone when police arrived.

AGENCY ASSIST | ROCK CREEK RIDGE BLVD SW, North Bend

On September 24th around 7:45PM, firefighters requested police to respond to a fire alarm being pulled by an angry roommate at the residence.

JUVENILE PROBLEM | HEATHER AVE SE, Snoqualmie

On September 24th around 6:15PM, a caller reported four boys were trespassing on the golf course greens and sand area and being disrespectful. Police contacted them and spoke with their parents about the issue.

DANGEROUS ANIMAL | SE FURY ST, Snoqualmie

On September 25th around 1:35AM, a caller reported a large bear in the area and asked for police to do a drive through. Police asked caller to stay inside her home.

WELFARE CHECK | MOUNT SI MOTEL, North Bend

On September 24th around 6:45PM, police contacted a known subject who was drinking vodka that they suspected she stole from QFC. Police waited on footage from theft, but charged her with violating open container laws.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES | OLD HONEY FARM, Snoqualmie

On September 25th around 3:00PM, police contacted three juveniles who were sneaking onto the property. They were teenage filmmakers looking for a scary place to make a movie. Police advised them to seek permission first next time and sent them on their way with a big warning.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF REPORT | SE SWENSON ST, Snoqualmie

On September 28th around 6:45AM, a caller reported that someone had shattered a glass patio table in their backyard. Police spoke with reporting person and came to the conclusion that there was actually no foul play. It had been windy the night before, causing the open umbrella attached to table to snap out of the placeholder and shatter the table in the process. Several tiki torches in yard also blown over from wind.

THEFT REPORT | SAFEWAY, North Bend

On September 28th around 9:20PM, caller reported that liquor was stolen from the store. Police caught one of the subjects, booked him on a warrant, and forwarded the theft charges.

ANIMAL PROBLEM | CENTENNIAL FIELD, Snoqualmie

On September 29th around 10:45AM, a caller reported a big dog running free, dragging a leash. Police warned owner that next time this will result in a citation.
