Si View Parks recently announced that it is celebrating Park and Recreation Month with Si View Metro Parks’ 4th annual Outdoor Live Theater in the Park event.

Caps for Sale! is a timeless children’s classic about a gregarious hat peddler and a band of mischievous monkeys. The peddler stacks his hats high on his head so that he is free to shake hands with any new person willing to shake his hand. When monkeys steal his hats, the peddler finds some very funny ways to outwit the monkeys and as a result, gently provide ways children can work through almost any roadblock in their life.

This musical adapted from the children’s book of the same name, engages audiences of all ages with catchy songs, sweet life lessons and laughter.  Si View invited the whole community to join them for this fun musical for all ages.

All through the month of July, Si View Metro Parks is celebrating Park and Recreation Month with a variety of fun and free activities. They invite residents to discover the power of play and all the ways parks and recreation can transform daily lives. From providing places to play, get fit and stay healthy – to fostering new relationships and forging a connection with nature – close-to-home community parks and recreation facilities provide essential services and improve quality of life.
