North Bend throwing Halloween Street Plaza Party, October 31st

The City of North Bend is throwing a Halloween street party, where kids can stop by local downtown businesses and do a little trick-or-treating. The event will include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Downtown Plaza project the City has been working on since the summer.

On Tuesday, October 31st, from 4PM-6PM, kids can trick-or-treat through the streets of downtown during the 1st annual Trick-or-Treat Street Plaza Party.

Many businesses in the Historic District along North Bend Way will be participating, as well as nearby surrounding streets. Just look for the Trick-Or-Treat Street poster in storefronts that reads, “Get your Halloween treats here.”

There will be speeches leading up to the 5PM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Downtown Plaza Project that changed the look of the intersection of North Bend Way and Main Street, along with sidewalks and other infrastructure.

Organizers say they’re working hard to make the event a festive, family friendly good time. There will be decorations, a photo opportunity prop, music by local band, The Amber Lanterns – and lots of glow sticks for the kids.

[Parking can be found in a parking lot behind the alleyway, as well as street parking.]
