ORIGINAL STORY

Mount Si High School Football announced yesterday that the school will host a playoff game, and with a victory would advance to the state tournament. Note your calendars, though,  it’s a daytime game  on Saturday, November 3rd, 1PM at Wildcat Stadium.

The 8-1 Wildcats will face off against the winner of a somewhat complicated ‘pigtail’ playoff contest (or a 3-way tie breaker) happening tonight in the South Puget Sound League between Curtis, Rodgers and Sumner. Two of the three teams will advance, with Mount Si playing the lower seeded team.

The Saturday afternoon game time – instead of a Friday night – is due to the need for this midweek SPSL 3-way tie breaker playoff and because Mount Si Drama also has a play scheduled for this weekend and the Saturday afternoon kickoff time was determined to have the least impact on those attending play performances.

The theme of the game is a camo-out.

The team is hoping for a big crowd to help cheer them on in this critical playoff elimination game. They’re also looking to rebound after a tough 16-14 loss – the team’s first of the season – to Woodinville in the KingCo 4A Championship game last Thursday.

Admissions:
Adults & Students w/o ASB cards – $7
Students w/ ASB (SR & JR. High) – $5
Senior Citizens – $5
Elementary – $5
Pre-school children – Free

NOTE: Students From Both Schools Must Pay Admission. No Free Entry for Home ASB Students.
