Business Comings: Brickyard Brewing, Glass & Bottle Bistro get new names; Frankie’s comes to Snoqualmie; Optimal Health moves

Don’t fret. Snoqualmie is not losing a restaurant. The closing of Glass & Bottle Bistro last month is just temporary and for a good reason. The owners are transforming it into a Gastropub.

The new brand will be revealed when the restaurant reopens around mid July 2017 – with a new name, new menu, and according to the owners, an “entirely elevated dining experience.

Good Libations, LLC purchased Glass & Bottle in August 2016. The company said in order to continue growing, they’re remodeling the space and rebranding.

The gastropub will focus on artisan meals made with locally sourced ingredients, draft beers, craft cocktails, and wines – and will have more seats than Glass & Bottle had, along with being family friendly.

Glass & Bottle will reveal their new name and remodeled restaurant in mid July.

Just down the street Optimal Health Chiropractic recently relocated to office space just above the spot they’d been in for about four years on Center Blvd. Dr. Jason Green said  they decided to move into the former Women’s Clinic spot (that had been empty for over a year) for more affordable rent.

And it’s been a great move so far. Dr. Green said they did some minor construction and painting and absolutely love the space. It’s a little smaller than the previous office, but he said the layout makes the office feel bigger.

Optimal Health started seeing patients in the new office on July 1st.

Optimal Health will become Frankie’s pizza this fall.

Something new will be coming to the former Optimal Health Chiropractic spot this fall, too, when Frankie’s Pizza opens on Snoqualmie Ridge.

Don’t worry. The popular delivery pizza won’t be leaving their North Bend spot. Owner Chris Garcia said this will be an additional location, saying he’s opening a second Snoqualmie Valley store so Frankie’s can offer better service and delivery times in both cities. Frankie’s Pizza estimates they will open on the Ridge in September or October.

And last but not least, it also looks like Brickyard Brewing in North Bend is getting new owners after being open for about a year at the corner of North Bend Way and Main Ave.

Brickyard Brewing Public House will close on July 22nd and according to an employee, will reopen about a month and a half later as Iron Duck, by the owner of Flat Iron Grill and Black Duck Cask and Bottle in Issaquah.

According to its website, Black Duck is a small but comfortable beer house. The Issaquah location has a seating capacity of less than 100.

Brickyard Brewing in downtown North Bend will become Black Duck Cask and Bottle later this summer.
