Bring on the Eggs! Thousands of Easter Eggs being Filled for Area Egg Hunts

Easter may be late on the calendar this year, but that doesn’t mean the annual area Easter festivities will be less fun… or crowded.

The weather forecast is calling for possible rain Saturday afternoon and showers on Sunday, but even a little rain shouldn’t stop hundreds of Snoqualmie Valley kids from gathering up goodies in record time at annual area egg hunts.

For those new to the Snoqualmie Valley, the Snoqualmie and Si View Easter Egg Hunts traditionally draw a multitude of children, and the eggs are usually disappear within two minutes tops – no joke.  You can see photos from last year’s hunt HERE.

Upper Snoqualmie Valley Easter Festivities Include:

TEEN FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT

Friday, April 18th, 8:30-9:30PM. Always a fun one! For Valley kids ages 12-17. Bring your flashlight and meet at Centennial Fields Picnic Shelter, 39903 SE Park Street in Snoqualmie.  There will be sandwiches, beverages and a mobile game theater.  Sponsored by Snoqualmie Parks and Rec  and the Snoqualmie Ridge ROA.

Si View Egg Hunt, North Bend

Saturday, April 19th, 10AM sharp at Centennial Fields, 39903 SE Park Street.  WARNING! Arrive early. Eggs go FAST! Kids ages 1 – 12 can hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny.  Last year, the Easter Bunny rode into the event on a Snoqualmie fire truck, where it was estimated over 1,000 kids and parents showed up, collecting the 10,000 eggs laid out in record time. Sponsored by Snoqualmie Parks and Rec and Snoqualmie Ridge ROA.

Bow-Wow Doggie Egg Hunt

NEW! April 19th, 11AM. Bring your dog and a basket to find eggs filled with doggie treats at Three Forks Off-Leash Dog Park, 39912 SE Park Street (across from Centennial Fields) in Snoqualmie. Pet prizes given out include toys, treats, and gift certificates to Pet Place Market in North Bend.

Suggested donation for participation is $5. All who donate receive a dog brush. All proceeds go to The Snoqualmie Valley Pet Food Bank – a non-profit that helps low-income pet owners feed their dogs and cats.

  • Great to have so many children’s activities in the Valley. In addition, many of the Valley churches offer Easter Egg Hunts as well. Valley Christian Assembly hosts it’s annual celebration this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church campus (32725 SE 42nd St, Fall City). Separate search areas and staggered times for four age groups up to 12 years old. Includes a free barbecue. Also advertised is the Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Easter day celebration. They will have their 10 a.m. service at Mt Si High School, followed by an egg hunt for the children.
